I don't think the eycontact application was ever designed to display the picture of a contact associated with an incoming call (was that sentence convoluted enough?). That's probably why it didn't work the way you expected it to.

To my knowledge, the eyecontact software JUST displays the picture of a person when you tap on their name in the address book (http://support.handspring.com/esuppo...417&ResType=il). I played with it using Visor Edge a while ago, but I recall that you had to remap the Address Book button to eyecontact (i.e. you couldn't just integrate it seamlessly with the Address Book application).

There ARE other apps out there that supposedly show a person's picture when they call, but I don't think eyecontact was designed to do that. See the software called TreoPictureCallerID on Palmgear: http://www.palmgear.com/software/sho...m?prodID=42501

Thanks for the info. You are right, I must have stretched my imagination. I tried the TreoPicture and it worked. since I have treo 180, the pictures came out but rather dull. I recomend it for those who have treo 270.
