Has anyone tried reading Usenet newsgroups on their Treo yet? If so, how did it work for you?

I use Yanoff to read Usenet and it works quite well. As a newsreader it works nicely and has a lot of good features. I subscribe to about four newsgroups and the Treo takes few minutes to download the latest messages (about twenty for each group).

A Java conduit is available for Yanoff and I usually use to grab messages when I sync my Treo and use the Treo to post replys.

The latest version of Yanoff is located at http://yanoff.sourceforge.net/ (Palmgear has an older version which is somewhat unstable) and a handy guide for setting up the sometimes difficult to configure Java conduit is available at http://www.steelbreeze.fsnet.co.uk/palm-yanoff.html.

You should also note that there is a Yahoo Group for Yanoff as well.
