What are people using Blazer for? I've only just started using my Treo and wantes to see what pages others are visiting.

For some reason i'm not able to get on that many sites. Hotmail definitely is not showing up in my browser. Also some of the sites for weather, etc... which are linked from the portal homepage are not working in the blazer browser either. Is anyone else having these problems. I'm trying to figure out if it is my ISP.

At least http://mobile.theonion.com works, and well!

I seem to be able to go to any website (using Cingular California).

You can go on just about any site with Blazer that does not have any special formatting etc. BUt, it is best to go on sites that are optimimized for PDA or phones such as http://mobile.visorcentral.com or www.mymobilestuff.com.

I don't own a Treo (waiting for the color version), but I'd to know before I buy one that I'll be able to go to Mapquest or Yahoo Maps to download maps and directions. Can you guys access those websites with Blazer? Thanks a million!

I have been able to go to any URL. I have used Yahoo maps (although the printing is TINY). But I am very happy with Blazer.

    Awesome! Thanks Stan.

I just saw a positive review of the Treo on the Next@CNN show. I'm waiting for the color version to come out to buy one. I'm hoping that they're ahead of schedule with the 270.

If you like amazon, these URLs took me a little while to find:

    http://www.amazon.com/phone

    http://www.amazon.com/pocketpc

The top one is a WAP site, so it's ultra-slim and pretty fast. The bottom one is a slim HTML version, it's prettier but still pretty quick. Note, Amazon.com doesn't seem able to detect blazer and format the page accordingly; just browsing to www.amazon.com doesn't give the best results.

http://wireless.mapquest.com/wml is a no-graphics, directions giving version and works well.

http://wireless.mapquest.com/Palm/v3.0/index.html is a graphics-enabled version and is also pretty cool!

You guys ought to program these URLs into your Bookmark buttons for quick access.
