    Hi,

I would like to find a tool for Treo Palm OS
which permits filtering of incoming callers,
preventing certain area codes from ringing
    through.

Ideally, the tool would be able to block
by both area code and first 3 digits of phone
number as well as full 10-digit phone numbers
as well as by any pattern (e.g. (9*1-1*5-2*4)

    Thanks for any insights...

    Stuart

P.S. I am willing to pay for the program.

Searching on "Palm area code filter" yields:
    http://mytreo.net/downloads/buzz,670.html

I've never used it but says it does just what you need.
    Good luck

OH, looks like an earlier version caused lots of reboots - but the sight also mentions a product called Lightwave, may want to check that out too. I've used neither.

    Lightwav works.

    Buzz didn't.

Callblock didn't offer the needed feature
(block areacode or any partial number/pattern, e.g.
    1310* or 1212*, etc.)

Rampup time with Lightwav, was, for me,
    somewhat lengthy but worth it.

Lightwav: so far, so good... time will tell.

    Thanks.
