    Going to Cuba next month w/ the GF ... right now my 680 is locked to Rogers.

    *** I won't be using the phone unless it's an emergency at home calling or my GF and got lost and we split up for some reason ***

    I was wondering, should I unlock my 680 and use one of sim card in Cuba. If so, can I grab a prepaid sim card from the airport or do I have to get one by travelling in the city?

    Roaming charges are a b*tch and don't want to be charge 100000x for these calls I might be making.

    Any advice pls ...

    You might want to look at what is allowed in Cuba. Castro recently relaxed the rules for cellphones but I'm not sure what the current details are. It's worth investigating prior to unlocking your phone.

    When I go on vacations I don't ever take my treo... I'll take a POS (and that does not mean Palm Operating System!). Well, unless I'm in the states... then I take my treo, but that depends on the trip and where I'm going.

    A treo looks a bit "flashy" IMO...

    Flashy = target IMO....

    I normally leave all jewelry, "fancy cloths" etc at home.

    I've read and personally experienced enough people getting robbed over a watch, necklace, chain, flashing money, or something else... Low key is for me.... but others may disagree. I've not had a problem yet, so I'll stay this way. Plus, if I get robbed, I won't lose much. lol

    So I say leave it. Take a POS if you want to take something.

    After thinking about it, it's best to bring my Motorola V3s ... instead of my Treos

    I brought my 600 over to China for my vacation and it was a bit scary sometimes.
