    This device is for plugging a normal phone into a computer to use as a VoIP / Telephony gateway.

    PDANet is a software package to share a PDA's internet connection with a desktop or laptop computer.

    These are apples and oranges.

    I think he means: will MagicJack run with PDANet SOFTWARE. (being tethered from the treo)

    My answer is yes: no ports are restricted from PDANet tethering.

    Ah...

    Yes, they should run congruently.

    I don't know how well that would work, though, and making phone calls via MagicJack will probably use quite a bit of data so I don't know if it is advisable.

    I ordered it. It doesn't work, at least on my Eee. It's too choppy :-(
