So if I have a 680 with an unlimited data plan (AT&T) and my wife has a 750 with NO data plan, if we swapped the SIM cards then the 750 would be included on my data plan and the 680 would be without, correct?

In short, the data plan follows the SIM card, right??

I'm 99% sure this is the case, but a $$$ bill is something I'd like to avoid

    Thanks!

    Yes.

Would a sim from a 680 properly configure a 750 for the high speed data networks ? I would be surprised if that was the case.

Yes it could work if your provider allowed access to data networks faster than EDGE with that SIM.

My current SIM connects to 3G networks fine (UK based) when put in such devices.
