mobileCLOCK by rMOBILE lets you specify a button that when held down for a second or two will fill the screen with their "Pop up clock" with the time, date, next appointment/alarm and remaining battery power - very cool!

    1. Alt key
    2. Then the symbol appears in the lower right of the pop-up screen.
    3. dts

Alt key does nothing on my Treo 680 if I press it without pressing another key before it

I actually found it by accident.

    1./ Press 's'
    2./ Press 'alt'
    3./ Select graffiti symbol
4./ type shortcut (dt, ds, dts, etc)

check out ranosoft.net. has a $5 program there that restores shortcut function.

personally, I'd like to be able to do a date/time stamp with shortcut5.

I use shortcut5 to do a very personalized dts, using macros. I start all my memos with yyyymmdd so that under alphabetical order they file by date.

Can you explain how you do your 'personalized' dts using shortcut5?

Now just make sure to set the memos to alphabetical order and the memos will fall into place by date :-)

I have a Treo 755p. When I make a timestamp it only has hours:minutes. Can it be set to show hh:mm:ss?
