    Hi,

Just curious what you guys use at the gym. (if ever you do use it there) My seido over the ear loop already broke down. After 2 years, that should be enough. Palm's in ear is tempting but initial reviews say that the bass is lacking. I have an etymotic er6i but dont wanna use it in the gym as I still have to get an adaptor. Also, the wire is just to thin.

I use Motorola S9 (Stereo Bluetooth) with my Treo 750. The sound performance is not the greatest , but better than cheap ear buds. You will love been cable free while workout.

Note: Motorola S9 works with most Bluetooth A2DP compatible devices.

At the Gym I was using some very nice Shure i2C-T. Sound was Excellant, but I got tired of the cord.

Last week I switched to Motorola S9. Certainly the sound is not near as good as my old Shures....but I like freedom and control of BT wireless

I second, third and fourth ANY wireless BT stereo solution you can afford.

    You'll HATE the wires.
ONE can be spelled as NEO.

Wow, that's a unanimous recommendation! Any special software needed to make this work on the 680? Where's the best place to get this online?

It does say that its water resistant. Can I take when I paddle my surf ski? Any other detail on its water resistant feature?

It claims to be waterproof, but the claim is dubious at best. Read http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...d.php?t=145486 for how sweat will get into it and short the buttons.

To get stereo music on Palm OS Treo's, you'll need Softick Audio Gateway from

I vote for getting an adapter for the Etymotics. Get the one with the little short wire. I use these all the time for biking and they are great.

The Motorola S9 looks great, but I haven't been able to figure out if it has a built-in mic for making phone calls.

Is this just strictly headphones? Or is it also a headset to make calls with?

    Thanks.

I have a 755p with SAG and use the motorola S9 headsets at the gym every time I go and absolutely love them. For the life of me, I could not find a microphone on the headset anywhere. But when I had SAG turned off and paired the headset with my phone, sure enough i had a conversation on it and the person I spoke to could not notice any decline in the sound quality. The one drawback is that using SAG is a bit tricky and trying to transition from music to a phone call has caused a few resets. So I mainly use it to listen to music and use txt messages to communicate.

The microphone is embedded in the right ear housing according to the manual
    Palm III > HS Visor > Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 750 > Treo Pro > PrePlus GSM

I vote for the Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980 bluetooth stereo headset. They sound and perform great. It works perfectly with my Treo 755 and SAG 1.14. You can buy it at www.mobilecityonline.com
