If palm went to a form factor like the iPhone there might be a way to get the best of both worlds - meaning large screen and treo keyboard. Picture this - built in virtual keyboard for quick text, etc. and then an add on keyboard that could be held in place by some super strong tiny suction cups. I know it sounds a little loco, but if it fit around the phone nicely, the keys would touch the screen when pressed down (using the touchscreen) so no additional connection would be needed. it might actually work if the planned it out and integrated it so that the phone would know when you need to use the add-on keyboard (maybe by activating it in preferences). if it was built well, it could even be on a track or something so that it could slide on, but still use the touchscreen for entering the text.

Does that make any sense at all?

Now that SE has given-up this form-factor in their new P series, Palm can jump right in and fill-in the gap.
