Ok so I accidentally deleted some important texts that I needed off of my 700P. Can sprint actually provide me with the details of text messages I sent and received for a billing period? Does anyone know if this is possible?

No, I believe it has to be court ordered.

theres a product out there called Treo Desktop and it stores your text msgs on your PC. It allows you to back them up and restore them as you go. It also allows you to combine chats from older Treos into your new one.

Check it out, its a great product and Bruno the developer has great support.
ONE can be spelled as NEO.

I had an interesting problem that may shed some light on the situation. I was hacking my phone and inadvertently copied a file that began sending me every text I ever received (including deleted ones). This happened even with the device radio off. So they must be stored in memory somewhere...

Even if they are your own?
I mean couldn't the same logic apply to voicemails as well?

No unfortunately I did it in error and don't know how to duplicate it.

One would think that if enough text messages were sent and saved on the Treo that the Treo would slow down or take up a lot more memory than needed? Any ideas on how to clear them?
