I think he means m. specifically. A lot of sites are suppose to standardized on their mobile access being m.domain.

Standards help, so you don't have to guess is is mobile.domain, wap.domain, domain/mobile, etc. etc.

m.cnn.com is another one, by the way.

No m.cnn.com isn't one, at least not for me. I get "Forbidden Your client is not allowed to access the requested object."

You must have tried accessing it from a desktop/laptop???? In Firefox and Safari (for Windows) I get a similar message, in Internet Explorer a little better message:

We're sorry but CNN Wireless content is restricted. You may be attempting to access us from an unauthorized mobile service provider, or it could be that your service provider is authorized but has failed to register a new gateway IP with us. In either case please contact your mobile service provider for more information. We regret the inconvenience.

But access it fine in Blazer on the Treo. Somehow it knows when you are mobile or not.

Actually, m.nytimes.com works, it just redirects you to the mobile.nytimes.com.

But typing m. is faster. :-)

I have a question about how can I modify blazer so that I can avoid being automatically sent to the mobile site instead of the full web site. For example if I want to go to yahoo.com, it automatically sends me to m.yahoo.com or wsj.com to mobile2.wsj.com.

Often you can avoid the redirect by provoding a more specific URL (i.e. to a page other than the home page). However, some sites are still detecting the browser and redirecting.

Are you watching the videos on a Palm OS Treo or WM? Both Blazer ans Xiino don't seem to support the file watching on my Palm OS Treo 650. It would have been fun though....

I do not think it will work on a 650... Palm began including a version of Kinoma for streaming video and wma with the 700p... so it should work with 700p, 755p, and it works on my 680....
