Just got the treo and love it Just one concern. I have lots of contacts but I only use about 6 most frequently. Is there a simple app that would list my favorite contacts only? Kind of like speed dial but not something that would be on the today screen.

It would be good to just goto start->app and see my 6 favorite contacts only.

I know I can just use the contacts utility then create a category called Favorites and then filter by that category list. Problem is when I go back into the contacts application is loses the filter.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

You can create a category that addresses this and then list those that fit it. Ben

Which Treo are you using? Most have the option "Remember Last Category" in the Contacts app Preferences menu.

Ah my new best friend.....DialbyPhoto lets you have quick access to your entire contact db but can display five at once for you to quickly select.
However, as Bill points out, it depends if you are using palm os or windows mobile.

Just list "FV" (or similar) as part of the name (i.e. FV Mary Hollingsworth, or Mary Hollingsworth FV). Then, when searching for your favorites, just enter FV and your favorites will pop up.
