By now you all know that Sprint is coming out with a "new" Treo, the 755p
    http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/30/t...wild/#comments

This upgrade seems to be nothing but a 700p packed on a 750 body. However, I think Palm might have added a few things and I have some questions:

Will it have EVDO rev A?

Will it support regular SD cards like the 680?

Will the battery have the same capacity as the 680?

Will the battery life be better than the 680?

Will the Internet be somewhat faster than the 700p like it was reported for the 680?

Let's hope somebody knows anything about it.

    More questions

    How much internal memory?

    What version of Garnet?

    What version of Blazer?

Does anyone know if the 755 will be just a Sprint exclusive or will Verizon also have this available?

Wonder if a 2400 battery will fit in a 755.

Hopefully a firmware release will have occurred before the 755 release that will eliminate the frustrating device freezing up and application delays on the 700P.

The original sprintuser.com leak mentioned EVDO v.A on the 6800 but not 755p. So obviously it won't have EVDO v.A.

It will have a ton of "get good", "get BC", "get XXXX" trailware on it for sure.

Internal GPS? This is the main thing lacking in Treos.

    No EVDO rev A

Mini SD, what I do like about it is the rubber cover.

Don't remember about battery, forgot to check

    Cannot comment on the battery.

Blazer and everything else is the exactly like the 700p.

There is no business connect on it, but there was GOOD

Same version of blazer and garnet as the 700p. I looked at both (700 and 755) and they were the exact same.

    64mb of internal memory

The one I played with was navy blue

Really? It doesn't even have the new tabbed phone application from the Treo 680? Is there any reason why Palm didn't just release this device last year INSTEAD of the 700p?

I've never seen the tabbed phone application of the Treo 680, but the 750 is identical to the 700p
