In Tungsten E you had a tab in PalmDesktop for photos and a corresponding program on the PDA to view them ("Photos").

Now I upgraded to Treo where they don't have such a functionality. How can I retrieve my photos..?

There is a pic/videos app that comes installed. It also syncs to my palm desktop.
    I came from a Tungsten E2.

Did it came with the treo 680 cd or was it a left-over from your earlier device?

Ah ha, I have a 700P. I have no idea about the 680.

You should have a tab on the left of your Palm Desktop called Media. Look there and see if your photos transferred. I also switched over from a Tungsten E to a Treo650.
    Good Luck,

I downloaded the right PalmDesktop version for my Treo from palm.com (since the CD was broken), but I don't have that tab

The media function is only on the CD not on the download
