    Greetings from sunny Mexico.
Anyone knows how to program a number, in my case a toll-free for my bank, so after the main number a pause can happen and then an account number followed by the # sign and so forth?
I've tried AUTOMATED DIALING on my Treo 650 with "," and "t" plus "p" characters but they don't work as needed.
    I'd appreciate your feedback to:

Check out 2dial at shsh.com. It may be what you are looking for.

I do this exact this with my Sprint 650 and Charter One Bank. I use a series of , (commas) for pauses and it works just perfectly!

EDIT: I use the OEM software that came with the phone, not 2dial.

^^ Is that in the "Things the Treo does that are overlooked" thread? It should be!

I think you need to program this on 1 of your "favorite" buttons on the favorites menu, and after you put the 800 number in, there is a place you can hit a button "more" and that is where you enter your extra digits, a "," I believe for a pause (enter 2 for a longer pause) and the "#" sign as the need arises, etc.

This is correct. I've found 2 or 3 commas's (,,,) are sometimes necessary to get a long enough pause.

...or install CallCards and put the pauses directly into the contact, without having to create a Favorite.
