    It looks like Palm is letting its license with Access expire in december. I guess it could just be a move to kick Access into getting something done, too.

    Actually, this voids the co-development agreement--Palm's deal to work with PSRC in developing a next-gen OS--and the minimum royalty payments. They still have the option to use Palm OS 5 on a per-unit pricing basis for several more years if they want, and they can renegotiate with Access for whatever else they may want from them.
