No, the correct answer would have been "On my kitchen table".

Yes, back in their Power User hands. (Even had a RhinoSkin case.)

Although, I did ask him to give a guy a break and put their name and # in the owner section or at least written on some masking tape inside the battery cover or as the first entry in contacts. (Use an asterisk, as the first character ===> *IF FOUND*) As it was, I ended up adding a new text and sending it to his last message sent: "Found this phone -- Have them call it." to get the ball rolling. (That text was the last thing done with the Treo before my finding it.)

There definetly is a spectrum of Treo user expertise. This person was certainly in one of the tails of the bell shaped curve. Many here, are in the other tail. This episode jut made that perfectly clear to me.

    Cheers, Perry.

and.... did he enjoy his treo? Apparently enough to try and get it back! It shows the _wide_ appeal of our favorite gadget I think!

I would have beamed my name into his contacts

Maybe as an alarmed future task? "Have you input your OWNER INFORMATION yet?"

Enough info to get my TREO back with incentives. I still say that this phone is impossible to lose because it is in my hand or in front of me unless I am sleeping. Then I got a king size bed to leave room for the TREO next to me. Sad isn't it?

    Ditto.

    With me 24/7.

Everytime I get up from a chair or leave a room -- I do the "personal pat down."

pat pat -- Treo -- check

pat pat -- Wallet -- check

pat pat -- favorite pen -- check

    good to go
