Why not put in a hand warmer and a UV light for tanning since we are not worried about battery life ^_^

You made a mistake. You meant to write "Some of the things we will never see in the near future in our Treo's. We may get them 3 years after everyone else however, maybe after we get WIFI".

The Seagate HD does fine in the IPod.....12 hours.....which is more than I can get outta the 650 with constant usage.

As for the video, it's actually a significant power savings:

"Asked exactly how much power such advanced multimedia processing requires, Ballew explained, “for MP3 playback, we use as little as 20 milliwatts. For decoding broadcast digital TV at 30 frames per second, the power consumption ranges from 40 to 100 milliwatts.”

He added, “Our competitors’ solutions consume twice or five times more power for broadcast TV.” "
