I just found a cool piece of opensource software. It's call YPOP. It a POP server that runs on you home computer, or Server. It give you free POP access to you yahoo email. I goes to the yahoo site, downloads all your message, convert them to regular mail format, and send them to you POP Client. It like a mail fetcher. It also work with many account "not just one". And best of all it free. The software claims not to voilate yahoo term of service, but I doubt it.

    The pop settings are.

    Pop server
    you ip address
    User name
    Yahoo user name
    Password
    Yahoo password

Remember you have to open port 110, and 25

If you use a domain name or dns service you could use you dns name instead.

For those who don't know. You ip address is translated into a domain name. A name that identifys you computer on the internet. You can buy a domian name, or get one free at http://no-ip.org. They also have a dns cleint that automatically update you ip address "if it happens to change".
