I've been offered a brand new Cingular Treo 650. If I were to unlock it and use it with T-Mobile, what kind of warranty would I be eligible for? Would I get the 1-yr warranty from Palm?

you will have no warranty. I was in this same situation. I purchased a cingular branded phone off ebay, picked it up, unlocked it to use on tmobile, then a week or two later no sound would come out the headset so I was forced to use speakerphone all the time which sucked a$$. tmobile won't help u. cingular won't help u obviosly because they're not who you're paying monthly, and lastly PALM won't help u which disappointed me most. they won't help u becuz its a cingular branded phone and cingular is responsible for it.
