This is getting crazy - ask a simple question via email and get a list of instructions on how to power on the phone or do a hard reset.

I'm really at a breaking point and am ready to call executive relations and go ballistic.

Support at many companies these days = First they give out pre-set answers, then if none of those work, hard reset(or reformat drive). No other solutions are given. Palm is not alone *cough*Dell*cough*.
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

yep, they can't even tell you whether or not they will update the Treo 650 firmware to enable "Direct Push" synchronization.

    That's not a technical question; that's a business question.

    it's a systemic problem.

I participated fully in the Palm Paysback program, racking up $300 in credits. The program was scheduled to end on 9/30 so I withdrew all my credits on a PalmStore gift card.

To make a long story short, after palm sent me a coupon code that expired literally 2 weeks before they emialed it to me, and after I spent 3 hours on the phone with various Palm support groups, I googled eprize, the program administrator, spending another 30 minutes on the phone with someoe who refused to pass me to or name the responsible party. I explained that this was my last call, and I would be filing with the Attorney General the next day for fraud. Did get a call back and a coupon after that threat.

Palm called two weeks later (and 4 weeks after they originally committed) to confirm that my issue was resolved.

All this stellar service as a reward for someone who has generated 25 sales based on personal recommendations.

Here's a tip, if the rewards program is more hassle than it is worth, you should probably shut it down.
