Hey guys, newbie here......and I'm talking NEWBIE with a capital 'N'!!!

I tried a search on this......no luck tho.

    Question.....

Is there a way to 'lock-out' internet access on my Verizon equiped Treo 650?

In other words, in order for me to access the internet (or anybody else for that matter [which is the reason I'm asking]) from my Treo, I would need to enter (let's say) a four digit code or sumpin'? Is this do-able???

My concern here is that my data plan is 'Pay as you go' and very expensive, and I fear my Treo gaining access to the internet out of my control.

Any suggestions from the treo-central Guru's?

    Thanks in advance

Go into Prefs and under Network select the option called Ask before connecting to the Internet.

To go a step further, you can lock out individual apps (like all the ones that can use your internet connection) with a 3rd party app such as applock (search palmgear). That would prevent someone you let use your phone from simply selecting OK when asked to connect to the internet...they wouldn't even be able to open Blazer, for example, without entering your password.
