Anybody having problems installing advanced phone preferences? I had all the advanced preferences installed, then had problems with advanced mode menu install so I did an EPR. I was able to install all of the advanced preferences other than that one on my Sprint Pre- 2.1. Below is the log.

uninstall any phone patches you have. Looks like something to do with speed dials.

btw, the mode menu is not supported on 2.1 yet. Sconix has yet to release the 2.1 version cause MS 2 is not out yet.

Isn't the "pre" one (Legacy) the correct for a Meta Doctored 2.1 Pre minus?

Thanks for the reply. The reason this is weird is because I don't have anything other than the advanced menu and preferences patches installed after doing the EPR.

I do have the alpha mode menu patch installed.

depends when you meta doctored. Start with the main framework and if that don't work try the next one. See the op for the wiki link for more details.

ah. So you are alpha testing too. Ok.

well according to the error it was failing on something to do with speed dials.

    Hi sconix,

can you integrate the "call reject" patch in Advanced System Prefs - Phone Prefs?
I need this patch because of unwanted phone numbers.
  15.    #315
I have finally found the reason (at least now I am pretty sure about it) why today menu is not showing all events for all. Next version should fix this problem for everyone.

Also there is translations for French, Spanish and German coming. Still missing an Italy from the supported language set so if there is someone wanting to make translations for that then contact me.

It is already there it is under unknown contacts.

Its not the same as the patch "call reject".

    Here is the description:

Here is a small patch I created that will automatically reject any call that comes in and is listed as a number for a contact with the name: 'Do Not Answer'

I used that patch as well when it came out and sconix integrated that feature with his 1.4.5 version. The workaround is to still have the contact do not answer. When I make the changes I click on the bell and then I select direct to voicemail or hang up automatically for the options. In google voice I have the contact do not answer set to spam so they get the number is disconnected message.

As mamouton pointed out its possible to have Do Not Answer contact made with this patch as well. Just create the contact and set the notification settings for it.
