What's the difference between this app and the paid version? And I saw this app a while ago and didn't know what it did. Maybe it was the description or name.

I would concur on the name being misleading. I didn't download because I don't use Itunes. After I read the Make your Ringtone thread and I saw they were similiar, so I then downloaded it. A great name says everything..

Post iTunes Search/iTunes Search Premium vs. Free Music Ringtones

Well, I did not recognize the possibilities of the app iTunes Search because I´m not interested in iTunes at all. But I immediately installed the app Free Music Ringtones because I´m interested in ringtones on my Palm Pre.

As far as I understand iTunes Search Premium and Free Music Ringtones offer the same functions regarding ringtones (especially unlimited downloads of short music tracks from iTunes and installation as ringtones on the Palm Pre), but only one of these apps is freeware. And iTunes Search is freeware, but limited to only one ringtone at a time. Good that there is competition.

I don't have a music note. On the bottom of the screen is the Play button on the far left corner. The Favorites star on the far right and a Web button next to that. Is the music note in the free version as well as the Premium?

Thanks for your quick reply.

Yes it is. Look at the small icon on the cover in the result list. If there is a music note than its a song and you will be able to download and set. (v0.8.5 >)

Quick Update Notes:
Adding Advance Search to Premium and Free version
