    Hi Jason,

    first of all "Thanks for your hard work, making webOS better!" On nexave.de there is a thread about mounting NAS drives (Zugriff auf NAS - Verbindungen - Nexave Palmforum). And people wrote sh scripts to mount and unmount them:

    /usr/local/bin/sup
    Code:
    #!/bin/sh
    mount -t cifs -o user=USER,passwd=PASS //192.168.0.1/SHARE /media/internal/.share
    echo "`mount|grep cifs`"
    /usr/local/bin/sdn
    Code:
    #!/bin/sh
    umount -f /media/internal/.share
    echo "`mount|grep cifs`"
    Of course these scripts have to be started in the terminal. IMHO it could be another killer feature for Internalz. Mount a NAS drive, copy i.e. a directory with MP3s to the pre and unmount it. Or copy all images from the pre to the drive.

    Thanks!

    Jason,

    I can't think of were else to ask this questions - is anybody working on a web app / interface to work with files and such via WiFi?

    I don't understand why I can't "see" my palm pre when it's connected to my WiFi group.

    Or visa versa - why can't I use you kick-*** file system to "reach" into my connected network and move files around, back and forth, sync stuff, etc.

    I know there are Dropbox type apps and such but that's really not the same thing as just being able to open you program and touch a connected NSA hard-drive and pull down a video or photos or whatever.

    Thanks and thanks for Internalz.

    It can be done via SFTP. Search the form for SFTP and Filezilla.

    For sure - I'll check that now.

    you mean for downloading ipk files or in general? If ya mean in general, then thankfully I'll be starting my Internalz Tipz series this weekend. Hope for new videos to be released once or twice a week. Each video will be targeted at less than 60 seconds and will be basic info on how to do various tasking in Internalz.

    Looks like WebOS-Internals' servers haven't caught up to PreCentral. Preware's trying to download v1.3.5, when 1.3.6 is the current version.

    I recommend people install the .ipk files from the Internalz and FileMgr P|C Homebrew Gallery pages until the issue is resolved

    I trust Internalz over Preware for IPKs. Nice work Jason.
    If you want to buy a Palm Pre is great condition. Here's your chance.

    Yes it can. You can actually zip and unzip now using commandline.

    Can't imagine any reason why it wouldn't. A commandline unzip utility is built-in to the stock OS as it is
