    ok after installing webos quick install... webos doesnt detect my pre and idk y i have dev mode on and my pre is connected to the computer.. the computer found my pre just find but not webos what shud i do

    Considering your post. You shouldn't have tried to install anything! I have know idea what you are saying!

    ^^I think what malpha is trying to say is that if you make your self a bit clearer (use full words) we might get a better idea about that your problem is.

    Perhaps you should rephrase your question for the sake of clarity. How is WebOS not finding your phone? What is your phone doing that it shouldn't be (or not doing that it should)? What, exactly, are you trying to do with your phone?

    Yeah, I'm being mean, but seriously.

    I'm going to guess you're using Windows, particularly Windows 7, and that the novacom is not installed (properly). First you should try to restart Windows if you haven't and unplug and reinsert the Pre afterward. Sometimes Windows 7 stops recognizing the device for after you unplug it and you have to sort of give and take with the OS.

    Of course, this never happens on my Linux box...
