The standard keyguard paddlock is stopping the 30 second countdown from working when the screen is off? Each time I press the Top wake up button the clock starts counting down, but then stops when the screen turns off.

Same problem here. Doesn't mater if it's charging or not. It refuses to restart.

Just tried this myself. I enabled notifications while locked and everything worked fine well

Nice app as always, Jason, but it doesn't (I think) help me much, as I use Countdown every night for a clock. Not sure how I can reset and relaunch Countdown, especially as I also have a PIN which asserts itself after a reset. Am I correct that I can't use your new app? {Jonathan}

Tested yesterday evening/night and here is how it "worked" for me;

Firstly I tried the 10 min delay as I was fiddling with my Pre. When the delay time was up, the notification showed on-screen for a <=1 sec and after a couple of minutes nothing more had happened.

I got curious to why and hit the power button, just to find the counter still having almost the full minute to go. I noted the count when the screen turned off again and counted slowly down.

After giving it more than adequate time without nothing more happening I hit the power button again, and found the counter to continue almost from where it left off.

So, it seems the counter stops when the Pre shuts down the screen again ...

I also have Show When Locked activated for notifications.

One thing I would love is if there was a way to say "Reset Now" from the notification. Perhaps clicking on the green square Preset Reset logo. Have that bypass the rest of the countdown and reset immediately.

Not sure if you know about it, but there is Reset Button which does immediate resets.

FYI, I just tried, and yes, the screen off does seem to pause the timer after like 2secs of being off.

So, with that in mind, here's what's planned for v0.2.1:

- Reset Now option in app menu
- Improved timer reliability
- Ability to set applications to launch after reset

Not that it really matters, but what's up with the Sunday being the start of the week in US? Starting off the week in the middle of the weekend/spare time doesn't compute with me.

ability to start bu after reset will be a huge plus...better than using the patch!

I can't get the file to install. I get the "install error" each time. I have tried from File Coaster, the direct link, and even saving the file to my own web server and installing from it. Any clues?

applications like Preware and WOSQI can tell you application id.

For rom apps, see /usr/palm/applications/ App folder names there are the respective app ids.

Probably the same reason we use the month-day-year format instead of day-month-year.
