So far so good! Installed on my Vista machine and ran without a hitch. My first app installed: fileCoaster!

This sucks. No wonder I couldn't get PreBrew to work either. I guess I'm stuck until a fix has been found.

I'm on Mac OSX (10.5.7) I got the jar working just fine, SDK installed, and got the Pre in dev mode, but when I go to connect, the app is giving me "ERROR : No Device Detected."

im using windows xp and have installed everything
but when i go on the program to install something it tells me my device cannot be found
its in dev mode and on just charge

hmm, I highly recommend using the Recovery ROM as a source for the Novacom installer.

plz PM me if your have "ERROR : No Device Detected."

Program works great, but when I try to use My Tether, I get the "need to enable USB Net" message, even though I have already enabled usb net under the services button. I have downloaded both my tether and the "org.webosinternals.services-0.4_all.ipk" Everything else works great though, thanks!

On Vista and have the same error. I have checked and am in dev mode on the pre and selected emulator.

lol, yea, email is probably best. support@canuck-software.ca 90% of the problems I've heard so far today are simply issues with installing Novacom or not using the correct settings, which I'm able to help with better on a person-by-person basis.

Davejm74, for now at least, I'd recommend not transferring files while using tethering.

Jason, in not trying to transfer files while tethering, im just simply trying to use tethering.
