Gamer Friends for PSN

Gamer Friends for PSN is a webOS app made by Appstuh.

The purpose of the app is to allow you to get information about your friends.

The version in the catalog at this time is the initial version, v1.0.0. It currently costs $1.49, though our US users get it for $0.75 because of the Palm 50% off summer sale. Our European users (Germany, Spain, and France) get it for 0.99 euros, our Canadian users get it for 0.99 CAD, our UK users get it for 0.99 GBP, and our Mexican users get it for 10 pesos.

Version 1.0 requires that you enter your friends' PSN IDs manually. Then you can get the number of trophies they've earned, the games they've played, and the trophies earned for each game.

Version 1.1, soon to be in (closed beta) testing, will support the automatic integration of your PSN list into the app. This requires your PSN email address and password, stored on device, NOT on our servers. This is a temporary solution to Palm's delayed Hybrid PDK application support. When Hybrid HTML/JS and C++ apps (i.e. Hybrid SDK/PDK) apps are available, we will have an update available for this to be handled on device, which will be version 1.5.

Version 1.1.0 should be available for upgrade now and will be available for purchase tomorrow.

Version 1.1.0 includes many new features and a few bug fixes:

[Feature] Provide trophy description when the user taps on a specific trophy
[Feature] Show the total number of trophies earned
[Feature] Ability to log into PSN and get your friends list
[Feature] Ability to view the status of your friend (PSN friend list only)
[Feature] Allow for customization of the auto-refresh feature
[Feature] Status indicators easily show who is online, online and playing a game, or offline
[Feature] List your PSN friends based on their status and then alphabetically by PSN ID

[Bug] Users who haven’t played any games do not show up properly
[Bug] Some trophies had no names — rare, unreproducible
[Bug] Not viewing the friend list prevented the list from refreshing (i.e. if you were viewing games played or trophies earned)
