    Steps to reproduce:

    1) Open Squeeze Control
    2) Select 'Spotify' from the list
    3) Select a Playlist

an error appears with the following:

    Code:
Network Error: JSON parse error: , or ] expected while parsing array, at character offset 607 ["(end of string)"] at /opt/sn/utils/jived/lib/Sprocket/Plugin/Jive/Comet.pm line 1548.
Upon clicking 'OK' I notice that Squeeze Control is disconnected.

Do you think this is a Squeeze Control issue or an issue with the app?

I should add that this is on a Palm Pre 2 with WebOS 2.1.2.

Are you using MySqueezebox.com or a local Squeezebox Server?
If you using a local server, which version of the server are you using?

Also, that particular type of error should already be fixed in an update that's going through the approval process right now.

Ok I tried the official Spotify app with the latest version of Squeeze Control (the one that's going through the approval process right now) and selected a song and it seems to work. Well at least it added to song to the playlist and Squeeze Control didn't disconnect. However, I can't actually get it to play, since the official Spotify app only supports the SB Radio and SB Touch and I have neither.

Call up Logitech - I'm sure you could blag a free one for development

I use mysqueezebox.com. The issue only seems to happen when I open a playlist - it works fine if I search for a song, look at 'what's new', etc.

If you have a new version being pushed through the pipes then I shall wait for it - any ETA?

No ETA, the approval process is not very consistent. Sometimes, it could be the next day, sometimes it's a week. Probably depends on how busy they are.

Ok I just tried the currently available version of Squeeze Control with the official Spotify app and the playlists seem to work fine. My guess is that either the playlist name or one of the songs inside has a name that has non-english characters. The current version of SqzCtrl can handle some types of those characters but not all. The upcoming version has a fix, specifically for that problem.
