cm9 wifi based location not working?

I tried to get syncbak to work, but each time get "could not determine location" error. Looks like wifi base location service is not working in cm9. I also tried to use google map, and not able to find current location also. Wifi location works fine in webos, just wondering if it's a known issue? I can't find to much info in the web. I have the 20130210 nightly installed.
