    Hi,

I'm trying to install Android (Cyanogenmod 9) on my Touchpad.

I think I'm having issues with the Novacom installation on my PC.

    I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

I've installed the WebOS SDK... But, when I put the Touchpad into USB update mode (Power + Volume Up) and try to connect to my PC, it fails.

I don't think that the Novacom is working correctly. I saw a video (*****'s Guide) that showed that if you go into your Device Manager, you should see a "Palm Novacom Module" in the list. I don't have that in my Device Manager.

I wanted to try re-installing the Novacom Files using a different method. But, I'm not having any luck. I've tried the Universal Novacom Installer, and that doesn't work. I've tried downloading the novacom-win-64.tgz and can't connect to http://palm.cdnetworks.net.

I think http://palm.cdnetworks.net seems to be the issue since it is apparently down... Anyone know if it will be back up?

Does anyone know if there is a mirror site where I can download the novacom-win-64.tgz?

Also, I thought maybe it might help to wipe my Touchpad clean and start from scratch. But, I can't download the WebOS Doctor for the Touchpad either (that's also on http://palm.cdnetworks.net).

Ughhh. What's up with the cdnetworks.net host? Anyone know?

Please let me know if you have the files I need available somewhere else online. Thanks!

I'm doing some meta-doctoring today and had to use this address
    http://downloads.help.palm.com//webo...p224pre2wr.jar

    instead of
    http://palm.cdnetworks.net/rom/pre2/...onwireless.jar

if that helps. I've got a speedy internet connection. I'll download the 64 bit sdk and upload the novacom package for you while I wait on my doctors.

Wrong. It uses Java. If you're using the Palm open source site, be sure to get yourself an archiver to un tgz the download.
