    I am quite used to doing the nightly updates. Tonight I did the 13-Apr update as normal. On the reboot it acted as if it was a brand new install. All my apps from the store had gone and I basically had to start again.

    of course, I didn't have a backup....

    I can't recommend it - the screen refresh is really slow - not sure what is going on.

    Sorry for your loss, but the basic rule is do a backup before updating. I have had no problem with the 20120413 build.

    Yes, it's weird. I've no idea why. All I did was boot into CWM, clear the cache, clear Dalvik and install the zip file.

    Maybe this is the time to try the alternatives to CM9.
