Market won't work

I have reinstalled Market from GAPPS. [I managed to delete Play]. It started ok and i registered. but it now starts up and then says "Market has stopped".

Anyone any idea why and what I can do to fix it?

I personally would have just kept play, since the market will always auto update to it eventually. But, try the usual things... clear cache, clear davlk, etc.

I tried all that. I did have "PLAY" - it updated automatically. But I removed an app and PLAY stopped working. Since I can't find the .apk for PLAY, I reinstalled Market assuming it would do the update. But it doesn't want to run.

Thanks - but anything else I can try without a complete wipe and re-install of CM9? [I'd rather not do that if I can get away with it]

Just tried re-installing the latest GAPP (04-Mar). Now it won't even load.

Any idea where I can get the Play .apk directly?
