I have a question, I am toying with the idea to dual boot my TP but do not want to break it. My wifes sis has a TP and she barely uses it so thinking about playing around with hers first. If I mess it up is it up is it always possible to doctor it and be back to normal?

it"s pretty unlikely that you'll break your TouchPad.

Just read the thread http://forums.webosnation.com/androi...ted-guide.html carefully and follow the instructions and you should be fine.
Due to the cancellation of the penny, I no longer give 2 about anything. I may however, give a nickel

thanks seems simple enough a lot like when I rooted my evo before the pre3. I will be getting the wifes sis TP soon and start messing with it on spring break.

"returning it to normal" is a -bit- more complex than simply doctoring it to normal. Running a doctor will bring back the webOS-only nature of the device, but it will leave the whole android system alone, taking up some excess space on your touchpad. You can remove this completely through the use of acmeuninstaller etc, as described in my main "android" post.

On the plus side, you can't really break anything. All this does is install android side-by-side with webOS, it doesn't effect your webOS install in the slightest. The worst you can really do is screw up the install and end up in a boot loop (easily fixed with a webOS doctor of course). No harm no foul.
