An update for this app came out today in the market. Getting the update will make the app incompatible for the CM9 Touchpad as of alpha 2. This has been a PSA.

Too late for me too. I updated to it this morning & it hasn't been working since, oh well. Back to the stock browser.

If you want to update to the new version of Chrome here's the fix.

Back up your build.prop, and find the line for ro.build.id and change the value to IML74K. Reboot. Enjoy new Chrome update.

Editing the build.prop and rebooting the Touchpad lets me run the new Chrome. Thanks for posting the tip.

Yep.. too late here too! New Chrome version not operative!

Already is build id: 'IML74K'.. so downloaded older version of Chrome + an apk Installer to get back & running.

    Shoddy of Google really..

Most likely your ro.build.device.id is IML74K look one line above that for ro.build.id and change that.

Not really chromes fault cm9 a2 uses honeycomb build id :P
