I've got two Touchpads, one with WebOS and one with CM7. Most of the time, I pick up (and prefer) the WebOS version.

Today, I downloaded Logitech Squeezebox so I can control my SB Touch. Brilliant.

If only there was an equivalent under WebOS.

I have that and can also control my squeezebox with my ipod and logitech harmony remote. Squeeze Control XL is easily the best.

Ahh - but the Android one was free.

If I knew that WebOS had a future, I'd spend loads on apps. But I'm not doing it yet.

Edit - That's stupid - the TP will last me for ages.

I found that the Tegra games on the Touchpad made Android a very worthy installation.

    Your edit made me laugh.

The developers will likely continue developing, if there's a compelling reason to, and money is usually a pretty compelling reason.

I've seen a few app authors suddenly take notice of their apps being bought a lot more recently, and come back to apps that hadn't been updated in a long time, hell, on a completely different platform/environment/etc, i sent a guy a $40 shareware registration for a program that hadn't seen a change in years .. a couple weeks later, I happened to send an email out to his mailing list asking if any of the other people still using it happened to know of a way to do something.. and the author patched it into the program that day.

I use it to control my Logitech Revue box. The Harmony Remote app for Android works great. I wish they had a TP app.
