Yeah they are snapshots, but once you enter the app again its still running so it doesn't bother me much. You can get those number badges for updates above each snapshot so that's nice. In regards to the iPad, I think they are still trying to perfect Proswitcher, Activator and Backgrounder combo for it. Backgrounder works fine I believe.
