A very, very NICE enhancement would be that the EPR would keep a secret file stashed somewhere with the list of the patches installed that it is removing before installing the newest release of WebOS and the sequence in which they must be installed back again and to have something like an "Emergency Patch RESTORE" to have it return by adding all those patches that are still compatible with the new release of WebOS 
Is this too much to ask?

Bring up the WebOS Install. Select Tool->Device Management (it may take a few minutes).
Select patches from the drop down on the right side of the popup window.
You can take screenshots (Ctrl-Alt-PrtSc) of your installed patches. Approximately 13 per window. Paste them into a word document and you don't have to write anything
