I received a letter with the package which stated the engineers established/uncovered A FAULT with the slider mechanism and thus fixed it. As a matter of courtesy they upgraded the phone la la la. One disappointing thing is that they also decided the keypad was due a replacement, and replaced it with a bloody 'refurbed' one!! grrr...

But the main thing is, no more Oreo effect The phone feels as tight as ....well, we'd all expect it to be.

i was supposed to take my to an o2 store in london today, but got side tracked, i'm heading to brent cross tomorrow, hopefully better luck tomorrow

at least the repairs seem to be good....
