Do you know any more about this, as in, will all phones4u stores do this? Did you have to persuade them to sell it to you off-contract, use any magic words or Jedi mind tricks?
I'd like to save the £100-odd by buying one in Ireland but I guess it's probably worth it in the long run if you get one with dicey hardware issues etc, simpler to return it when the store you bought it from is in the country you live in.
