Here is one new thing I've figured out with e-mail notifications (gmail, at least)

Scenario: New e-mail comes in, and I read it and archive it on my computer.

Previously: New e-mail notification still exists on Pre. Tapping on it brings up an empty mail app

Now: Notification goes away.
