I believe that's how all Calendars work if I'm not mistaken? Blackberry would do the same thing to my knowledge. They do this for conference calls and such that are based upon the time zone you created them in. For example if you have a conference call in NY for 9am but travel to Chicago, your calendar would adjust and go off at 8am since the time zones are off by 1 hour, otherwise you would miss your conference call. Blackberry at least let you choose to switch the time zone as it was a manual adjustment.
