We're working on doing a loopback mount from the big vfat partition before writing up a procedure for this - we don't want people filling up / by running ipkg install emacs22 ...

Oh man, once we get a terminal application this is going to be sweet. Might even be cool to have a single package which installs a terminal app and sets up the extra stuff needed to install packages. Or maybe even a GUI package manager. So many cool things on the horizon for this phone. I was excited about it when I got it, but now that we have full OS access its even more awesome.
