I called up a couple stores today, but only had a few questions.... clearly they were all tired of answering questions about it, because they were very short with me, but I asked the same questions.
Will you be selling the Palm Pre this weekend? -To make sure they're getting them in, and to see what date they tell me they'll start selling them.
Do you know how many you'll be getting in? -I didn't anticipate getting an answer to this, but figured it was worth a try anyway.
What time are you opening on Saturday? -For obvious reasons
And finally, are you expecting a pretty big demand for it?
Of course, two stores weren't sure yet if they'd have earlier hours, none could tell me how many they're getting in, and all three told me they expect a pretty big demand for it... Though the non-corporate Sprint store actually told me they think they're going to have an 'early bird special' so she took down my number and said she'd call later this week... not quite sure how a mall store has an early bird special, but whatever.
